Introduction
Our affection with the development and design team of Chengdu Wide Horizon Investment Group grows into 2025. The tranquillity of the Luxelake location just continues to inspire. Through nearly twenty years of development, our Client has grown into a green and blue city developer with the core competence of attracting the most demanding owners and investors. Luxelakes is situated in the core of Tianfu New Area, a newly established district south of the Chengdu central area. Our mutually shared values and high design & delivery standards are the foundation for the continued collaboration that stretches into the CZ-P2 project.
Framework
The man-made peninsula of the three residential towers is fully pedestrianised and offers a softly sloped landscape towards the Luxelakes waterscape. The ground floors, with the exception of the entrance lobbies, are deliberately porous and allow the residents to cross-connect with the water boundaries effortlessly.
The protruded terraces of the apartments above them float graciously and spaciously; they are designed seamlessly as private platforms for recreation, entertainment and related living rituals. Comfortable in size, performance, and viewing amenities, three- and four-bedroom apartments are designed to meet the highest residential paragons. They are filled with quality.
Concept
XO Projects designers used the conventions of the ocean cruise ships to evoke formal narratives for the material design system. Cruise ships represent a unique amalgamation of advanced engineering, innovative design, and service excellence. The T7-T9 towers borrow those principles to generate vertical resort-like amenities for the uncompromising quality of living. The systematisation of the façade design system was essential for the project’s economical resolution. The repetition and variation of the façade liner make the series of balconies and terraces distinctive, just like the designs of cruise ships.
Residences
By considering a highly contextual design and borrowing from the advances from the maritime industry, the XO Projects team, the developer’s team, and a group of consultants produced a distinctive residential experience that balances the city’s vibrancy with the serenity of nature. The living areas command the floorplans, while most of the bedrooms extend into the extended terraces. The tranquillity of the long views also reaches the ensuites and multipurpose studios, which can extend into the living room areas. Nature’s moodiness, particularly the waterscape, shapes the daily experience. All senses are reborn.
