New Business Development Manager

XO Projects is looking for a Business Development Manager to join its team in Melbourne, predominantly working on mixed-used and master planning projects including hospitality, office and multi-residential.
XO Projects is a design studio established in 2016 as a joint venture company between Elenberg Fraser and Elastik, aiming to ‘add that little of the extra to the ordinary’, hence the name. We are the office with ambitious architects and urban designers creating the space for extra ordinaries.
5 years of working experience in Australia is essential for the mentioned role. We seek the proactive, initiative, independent, sociable and responsible working ethic in our friendly and transparent environment. The primary task will be diversifying business and the growth of XO Projects workbook. We require a range of skills and capacities that centre on the best strategic outcomes for XO Projects.
A Business Development Manager will nurture existing client relationships, foster new potential client relationships and strategic partnerships in order to put in place future new project opportunities aligned with the business plan.
The job description covers the following tasks:
- Developing growth strategies and plans
- Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
- Increasing client base
- Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
- Writing business proposals
- Negotiating with stakeholders
- Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
- Researching business opportunities and viable income streams
- Following industry trends locally and internationally
Key Position includes:
- Full-time position (part-time negotiable)
- Work within an agreed scope
- Engagement with the Client and industry stakeholders
- Design and target driven implementation of business development
- Partial production supervision and marketing placement.
Salary commensurate with experience.

Project Architect

XO Projects is looking for talented and ambitious project architects to join its team in Melbourne, predominantly working on mixed-used and master planning projects including hospitality, office and multi-residential.
XO Projects is a design studio established in 2016 as a joint venture company between Elenberg Fraser and Elastik, aiming to ‘add that little of the extra to the ordinary’, hence the name. We are the office with ambitious architects and urban designers creating the space for extra ordinaries.
5 years of working experience in Australia is essential for the mentioned role. We seek the proactive, initiative, independent, sociable and responsible working ethic in our friendly and transparent environment. Those who want to actively challenge your own ideas and engage in the architecture discourse on a daily basis will be the best suitable talent for our office. The role also entails a strong initiation and capability on executing design ideas from conceptual to materializing in the Design Development phase.
To be successful, you need to:
- Have exceptional design skills in complex project
- Be a creative thinker and design enthusiast
- Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident at the time of application
- Be responsible and adaptable to prioritise the client and project
For project architect:
- Have minimum 5+ years of industry experience
- Be a registered Architect
- Have knowledge of construction industry legislation, practice and procedures
- Have excellent communication skills to work with clients and consultants
- Be responsible and proactive to lead the project throughout
- Have coaching skills for young members
- Have (co) designed and lead a project from conception to completion
Key Position includes:
- Full-time position (part-time negotiable)
- Work within an agreed scope and deliver complete ‘packages’ of work to the deadline
- Be attentive of client feedback, issues or potential problems and report any issues raised
- We value and support the individual initiative and skill learning
